Maryam Banikareim is SVP & CMO of Gannett Co., Inc., where she is responsible for all company-wide marketing, communications and research efforts. A leading strategic marketing and communications expert, Maryam has more than 15 years of broadcast, publishing, multimedia and advertising agency experience. Prior to joining Gannett, she served as SVP for integrated sales marketing at NBC Universal and as CMO at Univision Communications, Inc.
Maddie Hamill is a managing director of Venadar LLC. Prior to her founding of Venadar, she served as the managing partner of a strategy consulting firm and was a senior executive of The Coca-Cola Company responsible for creating and implementing the global strategy in 188 countries. Maddie has worked globally and in Europe in multiple disciplines, gaining unique insights into the needs of global corporations. Her diverse background includes positions as marketer, media strategist and research scientist.
Mhairi McEwan is co-founder and CEO of Brand Learning, leading global experts in transforming organizational marketing capabilities. Mhairi has worked at and with some of the world’s leading brands, including as VP of marketing for Pepsi-Co International where she was a former client, Unilever, Diageo and Burger King. She also is co-author of The Growth Drivers published in 2011.
Jeffrey Merrihue is founder and CEO of MOFILM. He began his career with RJR Nabisco in Spain in 1986 and over the course of eight years, he held marketing management positions in Canada, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Italy. Jeffrey moved to Kellogg in 1994 and, was my former client as director of European marketing. In 1998, he joined Initiative Media as European CEO, and in 2001, he joined Accenture as CEO of Accenture Marketing Sciences. In 2009, Jeffrey founded MOFILM which crowd-sources ads, short films and music for brands.
Rosemarie Ryan, is co-founder and head of brand strategy for CO:, and a former WPP colleague. A renowned leader, brand builder and rebel rouser in the marketing industry. She has been instrumental in positioning and building world class brands for Diageo, Johnson & Johnson, Debeers, Bing for Microsoft and JetBlue. As president of JWT North America, she brought the 125-year-old agency into 21st century with her efforts culminating in JWT being recognized as AdWeek’s global agency of the year.
Shona Seifert is the co-founder of fido (Fearless Innovation Designed Online), a privately held company with an unprecedented collaborative innovation system used by ESPN, GE, The New York Times, the NAACP, Time Warner Cable, WNBC, Blackstone-owned Pinnacle Foods, and other leading global organizations. Shona’s leadership and innovation experience was built over 25 years in the marketing business on four continents with such organizations as Ogilvy, TBWA Chiat Day and Nestle.
